I have had a weight problem my whole life and have struggled with the worries and mental fatigue of dealing with it over the years. I have tried pretty much every diet program out there and have also been to a few doctor supervised programs. I have been up and down the dieting yo-yo over and over again. As a teacher, I am constantly surrounded by food and by the end of the school year (June 2017) I was at my highest weight and was absolutely miserable. Well, even though I am 57, I lost 22 pounds and about 23 inches in 6 weeks! I felt great and couldn't believe I did so well. I have always been told that losing weight in your 50's would be next to impossible, but this program works really well even for people my age. 26.4lbs in six weeks! What else do I need to say? After holding my breath so I could tie my shoes for the last several months, I knew I had to lose some weight. But like so many of us: I like food.... a whole bunch. Have a good day? Let's celebrate... with food. Have a terrible day? Let's get out of the doldrums... with food. How was I going to lose weight? Each week, I felt better and better: sleeping better, so much more energy (just going up and down the steps), saving money because I was constantly eating too much. And I finally came to realize I was chronically dehydrated. Drinking what seemed to be ridiculous amounts of water at the beginning of the lifestyle change became the norm and acceptable because I was feeling so much better! More focused; more clear. And the first time I realised I wasn't holding my breath in order to tie my shoes? It was very rewarding! Let Dr. Gearhart help you out with this.
